It started with an email, the kind we love, the kind that isn’t just about jerseys but about making a statement. A few Neo Hyphen rider had bought our All-Seeing-Eye kit and was obsessed. His chommie's birthday was coming up, and he wanted to gift him something that wasn’t just another piece of kit, but a jersey that meant something. A one-off. A loud and clear, no-nonsense, no-excuses, full-send kind of jersey.
Normally, we don’t do one-offs. Our minimum order is fifteen units, but this was different. This had meaning. This had attitude. And if there’s one thing we don’t do, it’s turn down an idea that just gets us. The design was simple but significant, our All-Seeing-Eye jersey, but instead of the eye, a bold, unapologetic “No Bullsh*t” symbol, the same one he and his chommie already had on their bikes. Black and white, with bright red where our original design had orange. Clean. Punchy. No fluff, no filler.
The timing was tight. Our team was shutting down for the holidays and we had a matter of days to make it happen. We worked fast, locked in the design, confirmed sizing and somehow, through sheer determination, caffeine and possibly bending time itself, got it into production before the window slammed shut. We even added a final touch: his chommie's date of birth printed onto the back pocket, a little nod to the guy who’d be rocking it.
The finished jersey? A showstopper. A bold statement on two wheels. And when we saw it come together, we knew we’d made the right call bending the rules for this one. This wasn’t just kit; it was a personality in fabric form. The kind of piece that makes people look twice. The kind of piece that makes you want to ride harder, faster, louder.
We’re not in this to churn out jerseys for the sake of it. If it doesn’t have a reason, if it doesn’t stand for something, it doesn’t get made. That’s the Neo Hyphen way. And this? This was exactly the kind of project that reminds us why we do what we do. One jersey, one story, one rider who gets to wear something no one else will ever have. That’s what it’s all about.
