Here’s how to do it:

Avoid Abrasive Surfaces

Keep your kit away from harsh surfaces like velcro, wood, or concrete. These can cause damage in the form of snags or general wear over time.

Wash in Cold Water

Hand wash or use a delicate machine cycle in cold water (under 30°C). Hot water can break down the fabric and affect performance.

Rinse Before Washing

Rinse off any soil or sweat before washing your cycling gear to prevent any dirt from setting in.

Wash Separately

For the best care, wash your Neo Hyphen kit separately from your regular clothes. This keeps it safe from any potential damage.

Wash Inside Out

Turn your garments inside out before washing. And don’t forget to close all zippers and velcro to prevent snagging.

Avoid Soaking

No need to soak your gear for long periods, quick washes are better for maintaining the fabric integrity.

Use High-Quality Detergent

Choose a high-quality detergent specifically designed for cycling apparel to keep your kit fresh without compromising the fabric.

Skip Fabric Softener

Fabric softeners, dry cleaning, and bleach are a no-go! They can break down the fibres and damage the performance of your kit.

Hang Dry Only

Always hang dry your cycling gear, no tumble drying here. This helps maintain the shape and performance of your apparel.

Iron with Care

If you must iron (we suggest you don't), keep it on low heat (Max 110°C). High heat can damage the fabric or prints.

We offer nationwide shipping across South Africa through our trusted courier partner, Fastway. Our standard shipping rate is R100, but in certain cases, especially if you're located in more remote areas, shipping charges may be slightly higher. If that happens, we’ll notify you via email to confirm the correct shipping rate.

Local Shipping Schedule

To reduce our environmental impact, we ship orders only on Mondays and Thursdays. Orders placed after Thursday will be shipped the following Monday. This allows us to consolidate shipments and reduce emissions, keeping things as eco-friendly as possible.

International Taxes and Duties

For international orders, please be aware that import duties, taxes, and additional charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend checking with your country’s customs office to understand what additional costs may apply before you purchase.

These duties are typically collected by the delivery freight company or when you pick up your parcel. They are not to be confused with shipping fees.

If you refuse the shipment due to local import duties or taxes, the parcel will be returned to us. In such cases, Neo Hyphen reserves the right to charge an administration fee for the return.
